With this document, in compliance with articles 13 and 122 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 (“privacy law”), and on the basis of the General Provision of the Privacy Guarantor dated 8 May 2014, Ticam Srl provides website users with information relating to the cookies used. WHAT ARE COOKIES?
A cookie is a small text file create on the user's computer (or other device) when accessing a specific website and its purpose is to store and transport information. Cookies are sent from a web server (the computer which hosts the website visited) to the user's browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, etc.) and saved on the user's computer; they are then sent to the website every time the user returns to visit it.

These types of cookie are strictly necessary to the correct operation of certain sections of the website. There are two groups: persistent and session.

• Session: these are destroyed every time the browser is closed.
These cookies, which are always sent by the web server of the website visited, are necessary to correctly view the website and to make the technical services offered work better. They will always be used and sent, unless the user changes his/her browser settings (affecting the viewing of the website pages/services).

2) Cookies to integrate third party software products and functions
This type of cookie integrates functions developed by third parties inside the pages of the website visited. They include the like boxes on social networks to share the content of the site and those for the use of third-party software services (such as software to generate maps or further software that offers additional services). These cookies are sent by third-party web servers and partner sites that offer their functionalities among the pages of the website visited.
Third-party cookies are set up directly by the managers of these websites and used for the purposes and in accordance with the methods defined by them.

3) Profiling cookies
These are the cookies required to create special profiles in order to send advertising messages in line with the user's preferences: they track the type of browsing in the website visited and use it to establish the user's tastes and interests.
